We Have the Stabilizer Type Required
Gator provides a wide variety of stabilizers including straight, spiral, integral and welded blades. Stabilizers are available in both 4145 heat-treated steel and non-magnetic metal. Gator stabilizers are designed to control deviation and maintain bottom hole assembly stability.
Welded Blade Stabilizers
Three to five blades in Spiral or Straight blade configuration are available. Welded blade stabilizers are primarily used in soft to medium formations and are available in 4145 steel and non-magnetic material. Hole sizes available from 5-1/8” to 36”, with additional sizes available upon request.
Integral Blade Stabilizers
Three to five blades in Spiral or Straight blade configuration are available. Integral Blade Stabilizers are constructed from one solid bar and are used in medium to hard formations. Integral Blade Stabilizers are also available in 4145 steel and non-magnetic material. Hole sizes available from 5-1/8” to 36”, with additional sizes available upon request.
Nortrak Stabilizers
Three to four blades are available in welded blade or integral blade configurations. Gator Nortrak Stabilizers are designed specifically for directional and horizontal drilling applications. The long, low angle tapered blades combined with the short crown provide BHA stability while minimizing drag during slide drilling. Hole sizes available from 5-1/8” to 17-1/2”, with additional sizes available upon request.
